So there was good news, bad news and worse news, which do you want first? The good news: The first movie playing that day was Pearl Harbor, a flick that runs 3 hours. Not a bad way to kill some time. The bad news: It was the only movie playing at the only movie theater in town. The worse news: The theater opened at 7:30 p.m.! The movie started at 8:00 p.m.! The hits just keep on coming. So we closed out the Java Joint at 5:00 p.m. and moved our crap across the street, sat in front of the theater, and waited for the damn thing to open. Again, Mia's face tells the story.
